Trout in the Classroom (TIC) offers students of all ages a chance to raise fish in a classroom setting and then release them into a nearby stream. During the year, club members learn about water testing for PH, GH/KH, ammonia, nitrates and nitrites. They learn the importance of keeping our streams clean to support aquatic life. The club meets every other week on Wednesday's. The club is made up of students from 4th-8th grade, including a core group of our special needs students. This year the Aquaculture club traveled to Harford county Gunpowder Falls State Park to release trout.
